The Media, Internet and Data Protection Bar Association

A new Association which will provide expertise in the areas of media, technology and data protection law will be launched on 30 March 2023.
MIDBA – the Media, Internet and Data Protection Bar Association – will organise seminars to provide regular updates on areas of law include defamation, data protection, privacy, online harm, social media, artificial intelligence, technology in the courts, and all aspects of law which involve the use of the internet
In 2023, MIDBA will hold its first “Law and Technology” conference. This significant event will be open to all members of the legal profession, as well as representatives from the technology industry, media and other interested parties. The Conference will consider the major issues pertaining to data protection, technology and internet law from the previous 12 months.
